For me, the Dreamlight quilt is about tenderness and the feeling of childhood. The panel in the center carries joy, lightness, and spontaneity. That was what I wanted to highlight, without distracting from it. I spent a long time choosing companion fabrics to find the right balance: the quilt needed to be both bright and airy.
That’s why I imagine Dreamlight on a little girl’s bed, wrapped around her in the evening as she drifts off to sleep while listening to a bedtime story. In that moment, the quilt becomes part of the story itself — just as important as the words of the book and the calm of falling asleep.

In the Sunburst Friends quilt, the main theme became the purple shades. For me, purple is the color of creativity, growth, and childhood. Every quilt has that moment when it feels like it comes alive. Here, it happened when I finally found the right shade of yellow: I searched for it for a long time, and it was the piece that brought warmth and brightness to the design.
The animals on the panel look sweet, but with playful smiles — as if they’re up to something. It feels like this little company is about to set off on a cheerful adventure. You can almost hear their laughter — it’s like they’re inviting us into their game.
